1 Day: Arrival and Immersion in Casablanca

Upon your scheduled arrival, our local guide will warmly welcome you at the Casablanca airport, marking the beginning of your Moroccan adventure. We’ll set out to explore Casablanca, Morocco’s vibrant economic heart, starting with the iconic Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture. If time allows, we’ll delve deeper into the city’s charm, visiting the lively Courniche, the historically significant Pigeon Square, and other intriguing spots. Your day concludes with a delightful dinner and restful accommodation at a comfortable hotel.

2 Day: Journey from Casablanca to the Enchanting Chefchaouen

Our journey continues to the capital city, Rabat, where we’ll explore its storied landmarks including the majestic Oudaias Kasbah, the solemn Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the towering Hassan Tower. As the day unfolds, we’ll travel towards Chefchaouen or Chaouen. Nestled in a unique intercontinental natural park, declared a biosphere reserve, this charming town is famed for its picturesque blue and white buildings. You’ll find yourself captivated by the tranquil streets, the warm-hearted locals, and the exquisite urban vistas. We’ll immerse ourselves in the serene atmosphere of this mountain town, enjoying local crafts and the unique blend of cultures. The day ends with a local culinary experience and a night’s stay in a traditional Riad.

3 Day: Exploring the Vibrant Life of Chefchaouen

Dedicate a full day to unravel the mysteries of Chaouen or Xauen. Situated in the Rif Mountains, this town is celebrated for its stunning Andalusian architecture, with houses bathed in shades of white and indigo blue. Wander through the ancient medina, soak in the cultural and historical heritage, and bask in the town’s enchanting ambience. Marvel at the scenic Uta el Hammam square, the tranquil Rass-el Maa Waterfall, and the myriad of shops brimming with local crafts. 4 Day: From Chefchaouen to the Historic Fez

Leaving the captivating Chefchaouen behind, we venture towards Fez, renowned as the first of the imperial cities and home to one of the world’s oldest universities. En route, we’ll take a historical detour to the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, followed by a panoramic view of Moulay Idriss. Lunch in this spiritual town precedes our arrival in Fez by afternoon. In Fez, you’ll experience a magnificent sunset while exploring the ancient walls and gates of its medina or enjoying a welcoming cup of tea with a view from a terrace. The day concludes with dinner and a night in a Riad, promising a blend of comfort and tradition.

5 Day: Discovering the Wonders of Fez

After a sumptuous breakfast in the Riad, we embark on a guided tour of Fez’s newer districts, approaching landmarks like the royal palace and the historic Jewish quarter, Mellah. We then ascend to a viewpoint for a panoramic view of the entire medina, including the South Tower and the mosques. Next, we plunge into the heart of the UNESCO-listed medina, with its intricate network of alleyways, each echoing the sounds and sights of potters and dyers at work. As you wander, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time, especially when you encounter the ancient ‘’ la Magana Bounania ’’ clock. Your day in this medieval city ends with dinner and another restful night in the Riad.

6 Day: A Scenic Route to the Merzouga Desert

Our next destination is southwards, traversing the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach Ifrane, often likened to a little Swiss village due to its scenic beauty. Here, we’ll pause to admire the Atlas lion symbol, commemorated with a stone statue. Journeying through the renowned cedar forests, we’ll encounter the ancient Great Cedar Gouraud and playful Gibraltar monkeys. After lunch in Midélt, the landscape transforms into a spectacle of arid beauty and geological wonders, heralding our approach to the desert. By late afternoon, we reach the awe-inspiring Merzouga Dunes. After a welcoming tea, we ascend the dunes next to our hotel, basking in the breathtaking sunset. Our day concludes with dinner and a stay in a hotel located a stone’s throw from the Erg Chebbi dunes.

7 Day: Immersive Desert Experience in Merzouga

Fully embracing the desert environment, we start with a hearty breakfast before exploring the Erg Chebbi, home to Morocco’s towering Great Dune. Traversing part of the old Paris-Dakar route with the backdrop of Algerian mountains, we stop at the Tissardmin oasis, rich in fossil remnants. A visit to a nomadic settlement offers insights into their traditional way of life. The journey continues to Khamlia village, originally from Mali, where we’ll enjoy Gnawa spiritual music over tea. The highlight of the day is a camel caravan ride deep into the dunes, culminating in a sunset viewing. The night is spent in traditional Haimas, experiencing nomadic desert life under the stars.

8 Day: From the Merzouga Desert to the Dadés Gorges

Greeting the dawn in the desert is a must, offering a serene sunrise view atop the dunes. After breakfast, we bid farewell to Merzouga, heading towards Rissani to explore its vibrant market on certain days. The journey takes us to Erfoud, with an optional visit to a fossilized marble factory, and through the lush palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. The Todra Gorges, a natural marvel with towering vertical walls, await us next. Following lunch and a recommended walk, we proceed to the Dadés Valley, known for its figs and unique rock formations like the ‘’ monkey feet ’’. The day ends with dinner and a night stay in the Dadés Gorges.

9 Day: Dadés Gorges to Ouarzazate Exploration

Post-breakfast, we’ll savor breathtaking views of the Dadés Valley from a strategic vantage point in the mountains. The journey continues along a road lined with captivating Kasbahs, leading to the Aït Youl Kasbah, where we’ll venture deep into the Central High Atlas via off-road tracks. This route unveils a nomad family living in caves in the Boutagrar Valley, offering a glimpse into a timeless lifestyle. We’ll then arrive at the fragrant Valley of Roses in Kelaa M’ gouna. After lunch in the village, our path leads us through the Skoura palm grove, culminating in our arrival at Ouarzazate, where dinner and a hotel stay await.

10 Day: Ouarzazate to the Mystical Marrakech

Our morning in Ouarzazate involves visiting the Taourirt kasbah and film studios, capturing the essence of Morocco’s cinematic history. We then head to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for renowned movies like Gladiator. After lunch, we embark on a scenic journey to Marrakech, passing through the Tizi N’ Tichka pass and stopping at an ARGAN oil cooperative to learn about its production and benefits. Arriving in Marrakech around 18H, you’ll have free time to explore the vibrant Jamaa el Fna Square, followed by dinner and accommodation in a Riad.

11 Day: Delving into Marrakech's Rich History

The day starts with a guided tour of Marrakech’s medina, admiring its grand wall, the Koutoubia Minaret, and historical sites like the Saadian Tombs and Bahia Palace. We’ll revisit Jamaa El Fna Square, experiencing its distinct daytime atmosphere. The afternoon is yours to navigate the souks, perfecting your bargaining skills, or discovering hidden corners of the medina. The day concludes with dinner and another night in the Riad.

12 Day: The Coastal Charm of Essaouira

Leaving Marrakech, we venture to Essaouira, a city rich in history from Roman to Portuguese influences. Here, we’ll explore its medina and 18th-century Portuguese fortifications, and discover the local artistry in thuya woodwork. The day ends with dinner and accommodation in a Riad.
